A fantastic day out when the whole town welcomes guests to it’s
Hunstanton Rotary organised the carnival for many years, but in 2009 a new team of local people took over and have turned it into a fantastic event.
The Rotary Club are pleased to continue to support the event, running the barbecue, a stall and the craft fair.
The parade of floats, together with an excellent marching band, brought residents, holiday makers and visitors from neighbouring villages and towns out onto the streets in large numbers. All this plus the brilliant sunshine created a feeling in the town of celebration and festivity which was clearly evident from all the smiling faces in the crowd.
The parade passed through the town and finished on the Green where there were a number of charity stalls, refreshments and entertainment.
