Hundreds of Rotary clubs across Great Britain and Ireland took part in this coordinated campaign on
Rotary Day, 23rd February
and the week around it in an effort to
raise £1 million for polio eradication.

to this project

We collected £256 on the day, and our charity evening raised £640 for the project, which the club have made up to a
£1,000
donation to
Thanks for Life
Clubs have carried out a range of initiatives, including:
* Organising a Polio Eradication fundraising event in their local community
* Linking with schools for fundraising projects
* Dressing empty shop windows to publicise the campaign
